To top it all off, all participants will receive a complimentary link to download ShortPoint with Live Mode UX during the webinar. We are looking forward to seeing you. Register now and share it with your colleagues and friends!
Design Element of the Month: File List
Collaborative work requires people to share ideas, divide efforts, and exchange resources. In the digital world, the shared files created and modified during this time are essential and contain productive work output. Making them easy to access and visible to stakeholders is vital to ensure everyone is in the loop.
You can display a list of important shared files on your SharePoint page using the File List Design Element. It does a great job of listing and highlighting your team’s shared document library and has some features that are useful for collaboration.
Here are some of the few things that you will want to know about the File List Design Element:
Customize File Lists according to your requirements including how content is listed, its text, its overall design, and more
Connect to SharePoint Document Libraries to show your files and folders dynamically. Any changes to the files within the library will be updated automatically on your page
Display File Lists horizontally for a change in perspective and to capture your audience’s interest
Show the most popular files to inform your team about what files your users open the most and other parameters
These are just some of the many options you can do with the File List Design Element. You can do a quick search of our Knowledge Base to find more information. Go ahead and explore using the File List Design Element. You may be surprised how it can make world of a difference in how your team collaborates.
The Faces of ShortPoint
Meet Thejaswini Sekharappa, Our Middle Software Quality Engineer
Bugs are inevitable when it comes to software development. Even ShortPoint has its fair share of struggles when it comes to bugs, especially when it hinders the functionality and user experience of the platform. Thankfully, we have Thejaswini Sekharappa on our team!
Thejaswini is ShortPoint’s amazing Middle Software Quality Engineer who ensures that you can use the best version of the product. She works on testing and finding bugs, as well as developing ideas to improve your overall user experience. She is one of the many reasons why you can use ShortPoint with ease.
For Thejaswini, the best part of working at ShortPoint is the connection she formed with the team. “Despite the distance, I never feel disconnected. We work at different locations and timezones but everyone is still in sync,” she said.
She also loves the four-day work week at ShortPoint. “I never miss any of my children’s school events and milestones because of the work and life balance we have,” she expressed, “I get to take them to parks, help them learn new things, and surprise them with unplanned ice-cream and mall trips.”
Outside of work, Thejaswini loves traveling and sports. She enjoys going outdoors, cycling, and doing yoga. Thejaswini is also quite a green thumb. According to her, there are plants in every room of their home. She places them in unique pots that she adores looking at.
